I ran to shopko yesterday after Target had given me a little bit of a hard time about using my $5 off coupon on Tag books. It was more that the cashier has no idea about coupons and I didn't have time to get a manager. Which I'm now thrilled that I didn't have the time! ( I had to pick the boys back up from therapy)
So I went to Shopko after picking the boys up, and ran in to find a WONDERFUL surprise. The Tag reader books were on clearance for $9.99! So I picked up 4 books for the boys and then used my (4) $5 off coupons and paid the price of less then 2 books for 4 of them! YAY!!!! It included the new Toy Story 3 book that just came out! How happy were my sons, they were in HEAVEN! Each of the tag books rang up at $4.99 each!
I started to see signs all over the toy aisles so of course inquiring frugal minds want to know what all the signs are about! Low and behold they are closing out and have a lot of the toy selection on clearance! I didn't again have a whole lot of time (or my camera! GRRRRRRRRRR!) So I didn't get to see what all the items were that they had. However, if your near a shopko I would go and see what they have available and I will be checking on some coupons to match the toys that I'm going to check out today if I get a chance. (Bringing the camera this time!) I will be going by myself so I will be able to check out all the deals and let you know more of what's available in all the departments. I'm hoping to get there this afternoon. So stay tuned or if you make it there before me let us know what you find at your Shopko.
There is only one of the toys on the website that is available. I will post about that as well after I check on the in-store deals. :)
